IDC Annual Hospitality Design Award is sponsored by INTERIOR DESIGN China and HOTELS China magazine, it is a widely participated competition specially for prompting hotel designs. IDC Annual Hospitality Award Ceremony will be held on 24th June 2008 in Shanghai, the International Hospitality Design and Innovation Forum will be co-currently held. The competition enjoys a high reputation and supported by a very strong professional background in Chinese interior design field.
The competition this time will be different from the previous ones, hotel space will be further carved up into 6 categories. It provides multiple angles for the individual designers and offices to show hotel space of their own. The judgers committee will be made up of famous architects and interior designers, professional and academicians, together with editors from INTERIOR DESIGN China and HOTELS China magazines. The finalists’ works in each category will be published on both INTERIOR DESIGN China magazine and HOTELS China magazine, as well as be displayed on site of the award ceremony, when the prize winners（One winner for each category）will also be announced and certificated.
Entry requirements include completion of the Official Entry Form and a fee of RMB 1,000. Submissions must be received no later than May 15th, 2008.

Projects Requirement
Newly built or renovated hotel projects completed in the recent two years within China including Hong Kong, Marco and Taiwan.

AWARD CATEGORIES
Restaurants
Restaurants’ space design, ambience, table dressing, innovation and themes will be counted.
Lounge/Bar/Night Club
Bar or lounge - within a hotel or freestanding
Suite/Guest Room
Guest room containing both a sleeping and a living room area, including bathroom(s); Standard guest room, including a bathroom
Spa
Spa facility - within a hotel or resort
Lobby/Reception Area
The designs focus on branding, integration, efficiency and comfortness will counts.
Best Hotel Design
Judge in terms of architecture, interior design, landscape and so on.
